Ready to get your geek on? The Technology Bytes Radio crew is here to help! Broadcast each Wednesday night, from 8-10 PM CST on Houston’s own KPFT 90.1 FM, it has been on the air, once a week, since 1995 making them one of the longest running computer tech shows around! And being geeks, if you prefer you can always listen over the streaming broadcast on your computer. Can’t tune into the show at that time? That is ok too! They have podcasts available for you to download on the site as well!

The show was started back in 1995 by Jay & Peter, and over the years they have added Barrett, phliKtid, Dwight & Groovehouse to the mix. You might know Dwight also as the Houston Chronicle Technology Techblogger. Basically, these are some of the most helpful & knowledgeable geeks in Houston – and if you’re not tuning in, you’re missing out!

I brought my camera along to photograph their 15th Anniversary Party at the House of Blue’s Foundation Room in July. There were a ton of people and everyone had a great time! An added bonus? Cool t-shirts with glow in the dark lettering on the back! (If you spot people in the photos below with t-shirts over their shoulders, now you know why.)

Tune in every Wednesday to hear the show live on the radio, streaming over the web, and download the latest podcasts. Follow them on Twitter: Jay Lee, Peter, Dwight, Barrett and phliKtid. Join them for the monthly Geek Gatherings, and come and talk about technology with them!

I decided it was time I made a cameo appearance here! Me with Katie Sunstrom, my favorite geek lawyer!

I’ve met so many great people thanks to this radio show and the Geek Gatherings, and they are so supportive of the Houston community. Thanks again to Technology Bytes Radio for 15 years of AWESOME!!!
